Løbeplan

A running plan that keeps up with you.

Pick a goal and a race day. Løbeplan builds the weeks up to it, puts each run on your Apple Watch, and rewrites the coming weeks from the runs you actually do. No account, no subscription.

Løbeplan on iPhone: a 10K plan with today's long run and a note about last week

From your first run to a half marathon

Start running

From the sofa to 30 minutes of running without a break in nine weeks, with walk/run intervals and a voice that tells you when to switch.

5K

Run your first 5K race, or run it faster: easy runs, short intervals and a sharpener in race week.

10K

A plan all the way to race day, with tempo runs, longer intervals and a long run that grows each week.

Half marathon

21.1 km. Long runs up to 20 km, race-pace sessions and a two-week taper so you start fresh.

It looks at your week, then adjusts the next

When a week is over, Løbeplan reads your runs from Health (or the ones you ticked off) and decides: on track, hold, a lighter week, or a touch more. A fast run moves your paces; runs that felt hard slow them. Walk/run weeks are repeated when they need to be. It all happens on your iPhone.

An interval session with warm-up, nine repeats at interval pace and a cool-down

On your wrist, or in your ear

Each run goes to the Workout app on Apple Watch as a custom workout, with the warm-up, the intervals and pace alerts. No watch? Run it with the voice guide on your iPhone: it calls out every change, says your pace each kilometre and measures distance with GPS, even with the screen off.

The voice guide, ready to start a long run

Your runs stay on your iPhone

There's no account and no login. Løbeplan has no servers and no analytics, and it reads your runs from Health without sending them anywhere. Nobody sees your plan, your paces or where you ran.

No subscription to train for a race.

Løbeplan costs $1.99, once. No account, no ads and no tracking.

That’s all it ever costs. Every plan, every feature and every future update is included, and so are the extra app icons. Nothing to unlock later, and if something’s wrong, you write straight to Peter, who made it.

Questions

Do I need an Apple Watch?

No. Without a watch you run each session with the voice guide on your iPhone, which counts the time and measures distance with GPS. With a watch, the week's runs appear in its Workout app by themselves.

How does the plan adapt?

After each week it compares what you ran with what was planned. Missed most of it: the next weeks get lighter. All done and it felt easy: a little more. A fast run or a race moves your training paces, at most 3% a week.

Which goals are there?

Start running (walk/run to 30 minutes), 5K, 10K and half marathon. A full marathon comes later.

Does it record my runs?

No, it plans them. The Workout app on Apple Watch (or any running app that saves to Health) records the run, and Løbeplan reads it from Health on your iPhone. The voice guide keeps only the distance and time of the run you did.

Is it in Danish?

Yes, the app and its voice guide speak Danish and English.
